 I am praying for you this morning…
Summer brings such an abundance of tasty crops…
Strawberries, juicy and sweet. Tomatoes, flavorful. Peaches, luscious. Sweet corn, crisp and delicious…
For me, abundance and gratefulness go hand-in-hand.

We are in need…
God provides.
Do we remember to be grateful? 
Or, do we just take His mercy, grace and provision for granted, and move on?
Stop right here. 

When we give gifts to our children, do we appreciate it when they say “thank you”?
God loves it when we, His children, recognize and appreciate what He gives to us…
Constantly.

When we are grateful, it’s hard to complain. When we are grateful, it’s hard to feel sorry for ourselves. When we are grateful, it changes our attitude…

About everything.

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

We are approaching Memorial Day Weekend. Originally called Decoration Day, from the early tradition of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths and flags, Memorial Day is a day for remembering those who have died in service to our country. I hope we can all take the time to be thankful for all of the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms that we all have in America. It has been said that bravery is the absence of fear, but real courage is being afraid and still sacrificing for others. Thank you! You defended us with your lives and we are forever grateful!
