The promise is given that they will “renew their strength” by mounting up with “with wings as eagles.” The term “mount up” literally means to rise to another level. As the eagle is able to soar to spectacular heights on wind currents, the child of God will gain new heights by being uplifted by the Spirit of God. As we approach Easter, I am renewed by this promise of hope. Pastor David’s messages on Sunday mornings have been exactly what I needed to hear to renew my soul and the testimonies given at the all-church meeting on Monday about all God is doing in our faith community were so encouraging to my spirit. I hope you can feel it, too! So, let’s keep praying, keep serving, keep being faithful, keep being obedient, and keep sharing our stories. With God, all things are possible!
