Mercy Chefs is partnering with Light on the Hill at Mount Wesley in Kerrville, TX, to establish a "Beacon of Hope Kitchen" as part of their long-term disaster relief efforts in the Texas Hill Country following the recent floods. This new kitchen will be located at Light on the Hill and will expand Mercy Chefs' capacity to provide hot, chef-prepared meals to flood survivors, first responders, and volunteers. While the main kitchen is moving to Light on the Hill, meal distribution will continue at Citywest Church in Ingram through a drive-thru. |
KERR TOGETHER is your central location for Kerr County Flood Disaster information and resources. This is a united organization of Kerr Economic Development Corporation (KerrEDC, City of Kerrville, Kerr County, Kerrville Public Utility Board (KPUB), Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, Kerrville Convention & Visitors Bureau (KCVB), and the West Kerr Chamber of Commerce. Beth Palmer attends coordination meetings to coordinate relief efforts. |
Financial, Flood Kits, and Housing Support
Were you impacted by the July 4 floods and need housing assistance?
The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has launched the Housing Recovery Fund, part of a long-term recovery strategy to help families return to safe, stable housing. The first step is completing the Community Needs Assessment at RebuildKerr.org. This will help connect you with case managers and available resources. This is not an application for assistance, but it ensures your needs are documented and allows us to advocate for resources to support recovery.
