What a powerful Easter morning!!! More than 1,300 people joined us at Kerrville First United Methodist Church and Light on the Hill on Sunday morning to join together to celebrate our Risen Lord! Every morning is Easter morning from now on! There is a song that says, “I’m just a nobody, trying to tell everybody, there’s a somebody, who can save anybody.” And that name is JESUS. May we go out as the Easter People that we are and share the hope of Christ with everyone we meet! Kerrville and Ingram will be in the path of complete totality for the 2024 Solar Eclipse and are predicted to have prime totality times, Kerrville with 4 minutes and 24 seconds, and Ingram with 4 minutes and 26 seconds. Go to the city of Kerrville’s website to learn more. KFUMC and Light on the Hill love our community!
In support of the first responders, who will be working diligently to keep everyone safe in our community, Light on the Hill will be providing free meals to 200 first responders, three times a day, on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Thank you to all of the volunteers helping us, and thank you to Sysco for their Nourishing Neighbor’s Grant, which is helping us purchase food for this outreach initiative. We will also be hosting first responders and visitors from NASA at Light on the Hill from Thursday through Tuesday. Plus, the KFUMC gym and assembly room will serve as an additional command center for first responders. Please join us in praying for a safe event in our community! Comments are closed.
